Sky x WWF Habifacts

The ask: WWF & Sky 0 partnered to build awareness about the power of UK habitats and their role in tackling climate change. The films, fronted by naturalist Steve Backshall, brought to life the need to protect UK nature by focusing on three ‘superhero’ habitats: Seagrass, Peatland and Saltmarsh. My role in this was to define the style and create the animals and habitats in various forms of movement.

My take: taking inspiration from the brand guidelines I used a geometric, cubist feel to draw the animals and habitats also using tonal gradients to give depth. Combining animated, interactive visuals with the film brought these habitats and the wonderful wildlife that inhabit them to life in an engaging, sharable way.
