The ask: to design an invite for a charity dinner where the food would be cooked by refugees and served in a help yourself style, to encourage mixing. The aim of this dinner was to raise money for a kitchen in Athens that provides nutrition as well as helping displaced people to integrate into the community with education and specific skills training.

My take: I decided to illustrate the dinner table with outstretched arms, symbolising a sense of community and connection. To create a warm and approachable atmosphere, I employed a busy, informal style.
